Tawa Paneer Roll

Welcome to Swaad Cooking Institute, India’s leading platform to learn cooking and baking. I am going to make a Delhi style Tawa Paneer Roll. How is Tawa Paneer Roll made? It is a unique style of crispy paratha and the delicious stuffing that is made with it. Which is made in a combination of paneer and vegetables. So let’s start making Delhi Style Tawa Roll.

        Ingredients:

To make Tawa Roll, first we will make the base, Paratha. And after Paratha, we will make the stuffing. So let’s see how to make Paratha.

  • First of all, we have taken Maida here. And we will add a little salt in Maida. After salt, we will add a little oil and little milk in it. And then we will bind it well You can add some water to it.
  • Add some flour for dusting and knead it well. No, not too much water, just medium. Knead it well. The more you knead it, the better the texture will develop. The flour will also get cleaned. The dough should be of medium consistency. It should not be too loose or too tight. After kneading the dough, leave it for 2-3 minutes or 5 minutes.
  • Cover it with a clean cloth So let’s start making, Our dough is ready. Now we are going to start making the Tawa Roll, Apply some oil on your palms nicely First, roll it flat.
  • Then apply some oil and roll it like a flat paratha. We have rolled it. Apply some oil again. Make roll it as big as you can. Now, flip it. Make the sides as thin as possible.
  • Paratha is ready. Now we will roast it on the pan. Make it thin from the sides. Paratha should always be thin from the sides. Now we will put it on the pan. Roast it well. I have put some oil on it. We have to make it crispy. See how crispy it is.
  • So our paratha is ready, I will remove the paratha from the pan. Now we will prepare the stuffing. For the stuffing, I have taken some oil on the pan. Now I am adding some cumin seeds.
  • After cumin seeds, I am adding some ginger, garlic and green chilli. We will saute this a little. And as soon as it is sauteed, we will add sliced onion. And we will saute sliced onion.
  • After sliced onion, we will add sliced capsicum and some bell peppers. We will saute this well. After sautéing, we will add some tomatoes. We will add that after julienne cutting.
  • Here we will cut some julienne tomatoes. We will add some tomatoes. Now we will mix it well. We will keep the flame high and cook it on high flame. We will add some tomato puree, Turmeric powder, Red chili powder, Coriander powder and Salt Mix it well Now add Paneer pieces.
  • We have to take long pieces of paneer. We have cut the long pieces of paneer and we will mix it well. We have to keep it dry. Now we will add some cream.
  • This is a very tasty and spicy paneer. Most of the non-vegetarian can add chicken or egg in this. But we are making this in pure vegetarian form. Now we will add some coriander leaves. And turn off the gas. This is a very tasty and spicy Paneer is ready.
  • Our masala is ready. Now we will stuff the paratha. Now it’s time to stuff. Whenever you make Tawa Roll, place the stuffing in this way. Place the paneer pieces one by one. Now add some tomato ketchup and mint mayo. You can use plain mayo or tandoori mayo. It’s your choice. But mint mayo gives a very nice taste.
  • That’s it. You can also add salad if you want. But I don’t need to place a salad in a tawa roll and take it out in half and serve it like this take it out in half and fold it like this and serve it like this this is our Tawa Roll. so you saw how we made a crispy and fluffy paratha and we made a delicious stuffing on the pan. And we stuffed the stuffing in the paratha and rolled it in butter paper. When you will eat it, you will enjoy it.
